I utilize a client driven talk therapy with a mindfulness approach intertwined. We will work on identifying what skills work best for you to manage your stress in and out of sessions. I utilize positive psychology and dialectical behavior therapy for clients to have an array of tools to manage their stress.

Being a military spouse and working as a military family advocate, I can understand the pressures of military life. I worked 6yrs as a military family advocate focusing on prevention and intervention of family violence.

I am certified advanced victim advocate and was a military family violence advocate for 6yrs. When working with victims of violence, I take a trauma informed approach as well as a safety first stance. I work with victims to become empowered to make the best decisions for themselves whether they chose to stay or leave a relationship. I go at the pace of the client and help them overcome their barriers to a happy and healthy life.

With holistic therapy with pay attention to the interconnection of biological, psychological and social influences to our wellbeing. We will work on addressing all aspects of life that may feel like they are contributing to your wellness concerns as well as those that may not be as evident such as medical conditions, sleep problems, nutrition, and social support.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy is used to help with a variety of mental/behavioral health concerns such as personality and mood disorders. The mindfulness focus helps with creating insight and reducing stress.

I work with children ages 6yrs and up to increase social and emotional learning skills. I use a heavy emphasis on mindfulness activities as well as emotional regulation skill building.

I have been working with tween/teens for over a decade from residential treatment to individual therapy. I use humor and create a safe space for teens to talk about their lives without judgement. I use a heavy emphasis of mindfulness as well as emotional regulation skill building.
