About My Clients
My clients are LGBTQ+ & BIPOC individuals—often gay men, children of immigrants, or those in LGBTQ+ and kink communities—navigating sexual shame, religious trauma, or neurodiversity (ADHD). You want to stop code-switching and start healing with a therapist who truly "gets it." Whether you’re seeking sexual fulfillment or cultural liberation, you deserve a space where your whole self is the foundation, not the exception.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in a simple but powerful truth: you shouldn't have to "translate" your life for your therapist. As a gay Korean American therapist with ADHD, I bring my lived experience into the room to ensure you feel seen from the first minute. I combine clinical expertise as an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with a decolonized, liberation-focused framework. We’ll move beyond just "talking" to actively dismantling the shame associated with sexual identity, religious trauma, and cultural expectations. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and CBT to provide practical tools, while ensuring our work is anti-racist and sex-positive. Whether we are navigating the nuances of polyamory, working through sexual performance anxiety, or managing neurodivergent burnout, my goal is your authentic liberation. I don’t ask you to explain your life—I help you live it with more joy, less shame, and total authenticity. No code-switching required. "Wow, you get it" is the stand
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every client has the right to choose what works best for them. They are the experts of their own lives and I do everything I can to support them to make the best, informed, and most compassionate decisions for themselves. I am highly aware of the different traumas from physical abuse to religious and developmental traumas many in the community have experienced. I am active member of the gay community, a proud ally of the trans community, and I believe Black Lives Matter.
