I am trained in Emotion Focused Therapy, helping couples to recognize their unhealthy patterns of interacting with one another. We will spend time in session creating new ways of relating to one another in a way that promotes healing, safety, and trust.

I approach grief and loss with psychoed, helping normalize clients experiences with their mourning process. Grief is so under-discussed in our culture that it often feels like you’re “doing it wrong,” when in reality it’s incredibly difficult to face any loss without support, guidance, or validation in the midst of your experience.

Many of us experience anxiety in life, for differing reasons and in different seasons. Yet the symptoms tend to have significant overlap of how this anxiety is experienced. If you’re struggling with physical manifestations of anxiety, I’ll equip you with grounding techniques and other tools to stay in the present moment. If your thoughts are causing you to be overwhelmed and stressed, we’ll discover the root of your cyclical thinking and pursue a greater sense of calm, mentally and holistically.

I am trained in EFT and primarily utilize this treatment approach in my work with couples. Together, we’ll help create healthier, more emotionally supportive ways of connecting within your relationship. We will identify unhealthy cycles that are causing stress on your relationship and will work in session to bring healing and healthy change to these cycles.

I tend to utilize CBT in my work with many clients. CBT is a powerful treatment approach as it helps the client not only understand how their thoughts are impacting their actions, but can aid in looking at more deeply held beliefs that impact your view of self, others, and the world.

EMDR is an incredible therapy approach that brings healing to those who have experienced trauma. It is proven to be more effective in healing trauma than traditional talk therapy, as it helps rewire the brain by returning the brain to a calm and neutral state, which can be difficult to access after experiencing a traumatic event.
