Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in San Diego, CA

About My Clients

I work with adults and couples who feel stuck in painful relationship patterns, struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, attachment wounds, or emotional disconnection. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware but still find themselves repeating the same patterns in love, conflict, or family relationships. I help clients better understand what is happening beneath the surface so they can feel more secure, connected, and confident in their relationships.

My Background and Approach

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Graduate School. My clinical experience has included work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship distress, attachment concerns, family-of-origin patterns, and major life transitions. My approach is relational, attachment-informed, and grounded in family systems. I also draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, psychodynamic perspectives, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients understand not only what they are feeling, but why certain patterns keep repeating. I believe meaningful change often begins when we can make sense of the deeper emotions, beliefs, and relationship experiences beneath the surface. My goal is to provide a warm, thoughtful space where you can feel understood while also gaining greater clarity, healthier patterns, and more secure relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I value compassion, authenticity, curiosity, and creating space for people to feel deeply known without judgment. I believe relationships have a profound impact on how we understand ourselves, and I am especially interested in attachment, family dynamics, faith, identity, and the ways our early experiences shape the relationships we build as adults. Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, writing, travel, time near the ocean, and spending time with the people I love. I also value ongoing learning and thoughtful conversations about psychology, relationships, culture, and meaning. My hope is to bring both warmth and genuine curiosity into the therapy room so clients feel comfortable showing up as they are.
