About My Clients

Are you a deep feeler or thoughtful observer? Are you a seeker, artist, or longing to live more authentically? You might have grown up in a family where emotions weren’t talked about, or maybe you’re highly sensitive, neurodivergent, or craving deeper, more nourishing relationships. I don’t believe you need fixing. I believe you need a compassionate space to feel, explore, and make sense of your experience in a way that brings clarity and choice.

My Background and Approach

My approach is grounded in the body and the therapeutic relationship. I explore how your early attachment experiences show up here and now between us: the ways you connect, protect, and struggle to be seen. I also bring a somatic and mindfulness lens to the work, helping you become more aware of physical and emotional signals that hold key information. My approach is informed by Modern Relational Psychoanalysis, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Buddhist philosophy. I also like to bring in an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens. But I don’t hold any one modality too tightly, as I let my clients’ unique needs and preferences guide the work. I am devoted to transparency and collaboration in the therapeutic process. My skill lies in creating a space where nothing is off-limits, where you can say exactly what you're thinking or feeling without fear of judgment. This helps create a spirit of experimentation and playfulness, which I see as foundational to good therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Being a therapist is my true calling. It’s a profound honor to walk alongside my clients as they become more at home in themselves. My deep curiosity about the human experience is a steady source of energy in my work. Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working as a journalist and audio documentarian. What I loved most about that work was holding space for others: listening deeply, asking meaningful questions, and witnessing the complexity of their lived experiences. Over time, I realized it wasn’t just the stories that moved me, but the privilege of being invited into someone’s inner world. That realization is what drew me to the path of becoming a therapist.
