About My Clients
You might be the person who’s always been “the strong one,” the fixer, the achiever—but deep down, you're exhausted. Or maybe you're struggling with anxiety and depression, and feel shut off from the world. Whatever the case, you have a sense that you want something to change, and you're taking an important step to getting help. If you’re tired of carrying it all alone or trying to "fix" yourself, therapy might be the space to breathe, be messy, and figure out what you actually need.
My Background and Approach
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate environments where disconnection, anxiety, and imposter syndrome were everywhere. I know firsthand what it's like to rediscover or reinvent yourself in adulthood, and I have a wealth of experience working with clients through life and career transitions. I have worked with CBT, parts work, narrative therapy, and other evidence-based methods (existentialist, relational, human-centered, psychodynamic, if you’re into therapy jargon). I have helped people with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, anger, loneliness, ADHD, attachment & relationship issues, career & life transitions, sexuality, masculinity issues, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a gay man, I work well with folks of all orientations navigating identity, anxiety, shame, and the subtle (or not-so-subtle) weight of societal expectations. I also like working with heterosexual men, an often underserved population in the field. In my experience, most men have a core desire to become the healthiest version of themselves so that they may put their energy towards building a better life for themselves and those around them.
