About My Clients
I work with motivated adults who feel stuck and unsure how to get traction with what they’re experiencing. Many of my clients come to realize they’re dealing with complex trauma that shows up as anxiety, attachment issues, or questions of identity. On the outside, they may appear high-achieving, while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure in relationships. I support change through depth, steadiness, and an embodied approach that goes beyond talk therapy alone.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist with training in somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, and experiential approaches, including Gestalt therapy. My work is grounded in an understanding of how complex trauma, chronic stress, and attachment experiences shape the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self over time. Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, my approach emphasizes safety, pacing, and awareness of both emotional and bodily experience. I integrate nervous system education, mindfulness, and parts-based work to help clients develop greater regulation, flexibility, and self-trust. Sessions are collaborative and responsive, allowing therapy to unfold at a pace that supports lasting change. Clients often seek out my work when insight alone hasn’t been enough, or when they want an approach that addresses deeper patterns rather than surface-level coping. The aim is to support meaningful shifts that feel embodied, sustainable, and aligned with who clients are becoming.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it is grounded, relational, and paced with care. I value approaches that honor the wisdom of unconscious survival adaptations, rather than assigning labels or viewing symptoms as something to eliminate or fix. In my work, curiosity and compassion are the primary drivers of change, not judgment. I value authenticity and depth over quick solutions. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where people feel safe bringing their full selves into the room. I believe meaningful change happens through presence, attunement, and a strong therapeutic relationship, and that healing often involves reconnecting with parts of ourselves that may have been pushed aside over time. I approach this work with humility and respect for the complexity of human experience, and I see therapy as a collaborative process of learning, integration, and growth.
