About My Clients

I enjoy working with adults in their 20s and 30s. Most of my clients reach out because they are tired of how things are going in their life and are open to making some changes.

My Background and Approach

My goal as a therapist is to ensure that from the beginning of our work together you feel comfortable and safe. Most people seek out therapy because they become tired of the way things are. The pain, guilt, uncertainty finally outweigh the fear of taking a deeper look at what is really going on. And trust me, I know it is intimidating. My approach includes being a collaborative partner and guide for you to start to unpack the things that aren’t working anymore. There is no judgment and no advice. We will take a compassionate look at what is going and work together to create change. I enjoy working with those who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, boundary setting and substance use issues. In session I use mindfulness-based therapy models to teach skills and different ways of looking at things. I have gravitated towards this because I have witnessed the incredible resiliency and grace that clients develop through these practices.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Counseling is not a one - size - fits - all process. My goal is to make counseling a collaborative effort where we will focus on the needs and goals you bring. Asking for help can be difficult and intimidating. I will listen, respect, and support you during this process.
