My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Sex Therapist with extensive experience helping individuals and couples heal emotional wounds, rebuild intimacy, and strengthen communication. My background includes working with diverse communities, guiding adults through trauma, relationship stress, sexual identity questions, desire differences, and patterns that limit connection. My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and culturally aware. I blend evidence-based practices with mind-body techniques to help clients feel safe, seen, and empowered. I use Emotion-Focused Therapy, sex therapy interventions, and mindfulness to address intimacy blocks, communication issues, and emotional disconnection. I believe healing happens when clients feel supported without judgment, and my goal is to help each person build confidence, deepen connection, and create healthier relationships with themselves and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is a mind-body-spirit journey, and everyone deserves a space where they can show up fully without judgment or shame. I believe intimacy is rooted in safety, communication, and being truly seen. Trauma does not define a person, but it can shape how they love and connect, and my work focuses on helping clients release old patterns and create healthier ones. I value culturally aware care, especially for Black and Brown communities who often carry silent emotional labor. My interests include helping adults and couples strengthen intimacy, explore desire, and build emotional safety. I am passionate about trauma-informed sex therapy, mindfulness, anxiety reduction, and guiding clients toward deeper self-understanding. I enjoy leading workshops, creating healing tools, and providing education that empowers people to improve their relationships with themselves and others.
