About My Clients
Life has changed in many ways in the past year. Adjusting to it has been an everyday effort. Inventing new ways to relate to our partner, family and friends or even finding new relationships, or go back out to the world, can be overwhelming. By learning communication and listening skills, understanding relationship patterns, understanding your own ways of functioning, and processing events that have created emotional injuries, you can have more a more fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 10 years. I’ve been incorporating different techniques and approaches that have been proven effective for clients. I’m trained in the Gottman Method, an evidence-based model that provides a variety of tools for improving communication and listening skills, ways to manage conflict more effectively, strengthening your friendship, and specific exercises that will allow you and your partner(s) improve your relationship. I have also specialized in working with people experiencing anxiety. Helping identify triggers, learn new coping mechanisms, and learn how to manage it so episodes can be less frequent, will be an important part of treatment.
