About My Clients
I provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health treatment to children and young adults ages 2 to 25 with a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns, such as ADHD, disruptive behaviors, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and more. I also offer coaching and support to caregivers in a non-judgmental environment. I highlight individual strengths and focus on areas for growth and symptom reduction to help youth and families cope with life’s stressors.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed psychologist and founder of Bain Health and Wellness Center. I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, and primary care settings, and traditional schools providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Parent Training, Exposure and Response Prevention, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and more. After earning my Ph.D. in Combined Counseling and School Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, I completed a clinical internship and post-doctorate fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). I joined URMC as an Assistant Professor, where I created and coordinated clinical and educational projects and provided psychotherapy. I then relocated to Massachusetts to become Clinical Director at the Baker Center at Waltham, a program of Judge Baker Children’s Center affiliated with Harvard Medical School. There, I led the clinic’s development, supervised a clinical team, and, delivered evidence-based treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
