About My Clients
If you’re in a new stage of your life, and you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure of yourself, or unsure of how to heal from childhood trauma, therapy can help you gain tools to heal. We can work together to develop the skills to find calm, both in your mind and in your body. We can heal through past hurts to keep them from getting in the way of your present. And we can work together to rediscover yourself so you can move through this new phase of life with confidence.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Massachusetts. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Southern California and work under the supervision of Jocelyn St.Cyr, LICSW. I use the following approaches in my work. -Motivational Interviewing -Acceptance and Commitment Therapy -Somatic Approaches
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a staff member at Healing Well Counseling, I am committed to working from an anti-oppression lens. To me this means I am always learning and unlearning, and that I am open to any feedback I receive. It means I will acknowledge the power inherent in our therapist-client relationship and ay attention to any aspects of inequality and oppression that exist in the room.
