About My Clients
I have worked with children ranging in age from preschool to early adulthood. My experiences in public and private school settings, hospitals and university clinics, and in private practice have allowed me to serve children with varying developmental, medical, social-emotional, mental health and learning needs. I not only provide comprehensive and individualized evaluations to pinpoint your child’s specific needs, I also provide therapy and intervention supports for families.
My Background and Approach
Are you struggling to understand and support your child emotionally and/or academically? Understanding how to help your child can certainly be a challenge, but you’ve taken the first, and often most challenging, step forward. My goal when working with children and their families is to provide supportive care in a warm and safe environment. Prioritizing the needs of the child and family in an authentic, respectful, and empathetic manner is of utmost importance whether it be through the evaluation or therapy process. Individualized and comprehensive evaluations are my specialty, and I strive to provide recommendations for next steps that are not only realistic, but also useful. I also provide therapy and interventions to support your child within the context of both the home and schools settings. With my background as a school psychologist, I also provide support in navigating the evaluation and eligibility processes within the school setting in order to support families holistically.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a parent first, I understand how challenging the days can be, and finding the right type of support for you and your child can be extremely overwhelming. However, I truly believe every child and parent can be successful with the right support. Whether it be through an evaluation or therapy and intervention, every child deserves the chance at success and when we work together, we can achieve so much more. Thank you for taking the first step!
