About My Clients
Most times we go through life as believing that “it” won’t happen to me”. We try so hard to ensure that “it” doesn’t, whether “it” be generational barriers that we saw every other person go through in our family and decided, “that’s not for me”, or “It” hit my love one and now I’m the only one that can handle it or the only one they have for support. But, in actuality “it” has caused so much stress, anxiety, and now “it” seems to have a hold on you.
My Background and Approach
My approach in assisting clients on their journeys is pulling from techniques of Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, Strengths-Based perspective, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I provide a calm, direct, nonjudgmental space. We will address anxieties, work/life related stressors, and focus on goals set and how to manage moving forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has a story, a beginning, middle, and an end. How we choose to operate within our life's story, shapes how we decide to carry it out. From years of experience I have learned that, although similar, no two persons stories are the same.
