Life is fragile and sometimes unpredictable. Unexpected or painful experiences can alter your life in profound ways. The cord of hope that connects you to your life and dreams can become strained or broken. You may feel anxious, sad, or angry. Perhaps some time has passed and you realize that time, alone, does not heal all wounds. If so, there is hope.
My Background and Approach
I am a certified EMDR therapist, specializing in grief, trauma, brain injury, and personal growth (with a special interest religious deconstruction). Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to provide counseling services to families, couples, and individuals in a variety of settings. I see the process of therapy as a collaborative alliance. What works for one person may not work for someone else. I am comfortable blending different therapy modalities to meet your unique needs. My hope is that you will feel supported in expressing yourself honestly and authentically as we work together toward your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I do not know more about your pain than you. Fundamentally, I believe that the wisdom inherent in your lived experiences is vital to the process of discovery, meaning, and growth.
