About My Clients
I have experience in working with diverse backgrounds and cultures with a wide array of presenting issues. I have worked in residential and outpatient treatment settings providing individual, family and group therapy along with parent education.
My Background and Approach
Entering into new therapeutic relationships with a client-centered, strength-based and solution-focused perspective believing that each teen, adult and family has the resiliency and innate ability to manage and overcome the challenges they are faced with. I enjoy the opportunity to bring that out in my clients and watch as they learn, progress and grow. I see great value in both individual and family growth conjointly, and combine that with an eclectic theoretical orientation and style. I often have the calming aid of my sidekick Hunter, an adorable Beagle, to help make the therapy process that much more comforting.
