About My Clients

I am a therapist in Oakland who believes in helping people distinguish their personal experience from the pressures of the external world and learn to trust their inner-knowing. Many of the folks I work with experience anxiety, parentification, chronic illness/pain, perfectionism, and wounds of patriarchy. I support people in finding greater deservingness, ease, and trust in themselves so they can feel a greater sense of balance, inner-alignment, and belonging.

My Background and Approach

I was invited into this work through personal initiation: deep loss, recovery from chronic illness, parenthood, mediating divorced parents. My approach is grounded in depth psychology, gestalt, and parts work. I bring these tools and my lived experience to meet you where you are in your process.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We live in a world that encourages us to ignore, override, and forget our experience. I believe therapy can provide a space for deep self-inquiry where we can learn to become aware and accepting of all parts of ourselves. With curiosity and reflection, I want to support you to explore and understand your experience. When we explore what’s happening for us internally, our beliefs, and the unmet needs we carry, and when we can bring curiosity, care, and increased awareness, then new possibilities open up. We find ways to relate to ourselves and the world with more balance, ease, and belonging. I aim to help clients disentangle their own needs, desires, and beliefs from those imposed on us from the systems we live in. This is often work that we cannot do alone.
