About My Clients
In my work, I utilize play based interventions to support children who are struggling with a variety of concerns, including trauma, grief and loss, attachment and family concerns, oppositional behaviors, anger management, ADHD, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, and adjustment issues.
My Background and Approach
My hope is to create a safe place where you and your child feel welcome to share all parts of yourselves so that you both feel comfortable to explore what brought you to counseling in the first place. I want to empower you and your child to better navigate the challenges of life and learn new, healthier ways of coping. I utilize a mix of directive and non-directive play therapy approaches so that I can best meet the unique needs of my clients.
