About My Clients
These days, many of us are busy - working multiple jobs, raising families, commuting - slowing down can feel impossible and scary, and many of us never take the time to stop or pause. But that is one of the many reasons why I love being a therapist. I am passionate about creating a safe space for my clients to slow down & to pay attention to all of the parts of themselves that they so often forget. The wounds, traumas, grief, joy, & growth can all be acknowledged and integrated in therapy.
My Background and Approach
I take a holistic approach to therapy - believing that the mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected and equally important parts in the journey towards healing and wholeness. In working with adults, couples, children, and adolescents, I primarily use Gestalt Therapy, dream work, and a trauma-informed approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe each person has inside of them the capacity to heal themselves. It is my job to walk with you through your process and guide you to deeper, less accessible places in your mind, emotions, and body along the way. We'll be working together to re-discover your most authentic self. The relationship between therapist and client is the foundation for the work ahead - it is important to me that we both feel like we are a good fit for each other.
