About My Clients
I tailor each session to the individual because healing isn't one-size-fits-all. (And yes, I may ask, "How did that make you feel?"—but the couch is completely optional.) I have a special passion for supporting children, teens, and families navigating life transitions, anxiety, persistent sadness, motivation challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Together, we'll build practical tools, resilience, and confidence in a space that's as colorful, creative, and genuine as the people who walk through
My Background and Approach
After spending the last decade (plus!) at Johns Hopkins, my experience there taught me how to navigate challenges, build strong partnerships, and never stop learning new ways to help. My approach combines clinical expertise with real-life experience to help children, teens, and families better understand themselves, their relationships, and the way their brains work. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, embrace who they are, and rediscover the spark that life's challenges can sometimes dim. Whether we're talking, playing, creating, moving, or trying something entirely different, I tailor each session to the individual.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should feel fun. While there are going to be hard times and challenges along the way, I do my best to create an inviting space for creativity, play, and some brightness in the difficult. I also believe that families and people show up differently from each other and that is part of who we are. I recognize my differences from others while also seeing the value in our collective similarities.
