About My Clients

A breakup. A divorce. A death. A diagnosis. Different doors, same hallway. Something changed. Maybe you’re carrying grief, navigating motherhood, managing a health condition, feeling overwhelmed by stress, or trying to make sense of a relationship that changed. You’ve been pushing through. Going to work. Taking care of responsibilities. Doing what needs to be done. But pushing through is not the same as moving forward.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I work with women navigating anxiety, chronic stress, postpartum challenges, mother-daughter relationship dynamics, and the kind of overwhelm that doesn’t have an obvious name. My expertise is in loss. Most people think loss is only about death, but it takes many shapes: a relationship, your health, a future you imagined, even your identity. I do this work, not because I read about it in a textbook, but because I’ve lived it myself. The loss itself is the hardest part. What comes after is the second hardest, and often where people get stuck. My approach draws on grief research, narrative therapy, and somatic work. We’ll look at how your experiences, relationships, and sense of self are tangled together, including what your body is holding that doesn’t have words yet. Therapy with me is collaborative and direct. I want to help you make sense of what loss changed, and respond to it in a way that fits who you’re becoming.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are often carrying more than others can see. Many of the women I work with are used to being the strong one. The one who keeps going, figures things out, and shows up for everyone else. From the outside, they seem fine. Inside, they’re carrying questions, emotions, and experiences they have not had the space to fully process. I do not believe healing is about getting back to who you were before something happened. Some experiences change us. The work is learning how to respond to those changes in a way that feels honest, intentional, and aligned with the person you are becoming. I value authenticity, curiosity, and creating a space where you can show up as you are. Therapy is one of the few places where you do not have to have the right words, the right answer, or everything figured out before you arrive.
