My Background and Approach
My journey into therapy started with my own experience of anxiety and the life-changing relief that came from feeling seen and understood. That experience still grounds my work. I don’t see therapy as a space to fix what feels broken, but as a place to listen deeply to what hurts, what protects, and what longs to emerge. My approach is relational and collaborative. I walk alongside clients with curiosity and care, helping them explore the patterns that once kept them safe but now hold them back. I use an integrative approach grounded in evidence-based techniques and tailor each session to who you are and what you need, whether that means slowing down to hear a long-silenced part of yourself, unpacking early experiences that shaped your relationships, or practicing new ways of showing up with yourself and others. I believe healing happens through honest reflection, trusted connection, and the courage to return to the parts of yourself you’ve had to leave behind to survive.

I was born and raised in Tennessee, and that gives me a deep understanding of the cultural values, unspoken expectations, and relational dynamics that shape many clients’ lives.
