Talk therapy is the bulk of what we'll do in the session. Expect your therapist to be a little more dynamic, challenge you, help you see other points of view different from your lenses, and give feedback on how you present yourself in session.
Gottman therapy is used for couples only - here we learn a new way to communicate, improve intimacy, learn positives and negatives in the relationship and how to draw goals individually and goals for the relationship. An online questionnaire is used to help sort out the strengths and the areas that need work.
One can learn about what are the triggers from the past that keeps hovering his/her life right now, but cannot do anything to change what happened. One cannot know exactly what the future holds. What one can do is to be connected to the right-here - right-now - which are the principles of mindfulness. Mindfulness helps people to be grounded, and be gentle to themselves and others. Mindfulness is used in conjunction with the integrative psychodynamic approach.

I work with women (and men) going through chronic infertility, pregnancy or baby loss, postpartum depression, and give support throughout the surrogacy or adoption process.
