About My Clients
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in life transitions. The clients that I serve oftentimes seek treatment for trauma, interpersonal relationships, or sexual misbehavior. By using an integrative approach to therapy, I strive to provide the client with a therapeutic environment that is supportive and sensitive to cultural differences and personal history. I hope to help lead clients towards self-discovery, self-compassion, resilience, and healthy relationships.
My Background and Approach
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and received my doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology – Los Angeles. I have experience in clinical and forensic (legal) settings, where I have worked with adults and adolescents, who have been both in-and-out of incarceration. Currently, I provide outpatient treatment, especially in the area of trauma and problematic behaviors. I work with those with sexual behavior problems as a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provide in the state of TX. I am dually licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Texas and California and available for in-person or virtual sessions. In addition to therapy, I perform academic achievement, intelligence, personality, forensic, public servant (police and firefighter) recruitment, and other specialized psychological assessment services.
