About My Clients
My patients come from all walks of life. They all share one thing in common...they are dissatisfied with an aspect of their life, past or present, and want to discuss the issues in a safe, confidential, and supportive space. My patients seek interventions to decrease problematic symptoms and increase coping strategies to deal with trauma, daily stress, and/or difficult life circumstances.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Christine S. Moninghoff earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT. She earned her Doctor of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Moninghoff became licensed as a psychologist in Nevada in 2014. She became licensed as a psychologist in New Hampshire in 2023. She remains fully licensed in both states.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Most people have the capacity and ability to explore the reason(s) why things are not going the way they would like. And the same goes for the ability to make changes. We can all do this but sometimes we make better progress when we walk side-by-side with a trained professional. My patients always "drive the bus" when it comes to the treatment process. You choose what to discuss each session and you choose which interventions work best for you (after assessing their potential usefulness).
