About My Clients
My clients are looking to make specific changes and want an interactive clinician to provide perspective, as well as tools and strategies for coping with challenging emotions and life stressors. I specialize in relationship concerns, break-ups, and major life, academic, and career transitions. I also help clients with OCD, complex physical health conditions, parenting, and anxiety disorders. In addition, I offer performance and executive coaching services throughout Silicon Valley.
My Background and Approach
I have ample experience working with patients navigating significant life changes, ranging from students transitioning to college to those planning retirement. I also have extensive clinical training in recovering from trauma, anxiety, adapting to long term health conditions, child development, parenting, and couples therapy. I completed my APA-accredited internship at the Integrated Health Psychology Training Program, with a specialty in chronic pain management. I earned undergraduate degrees in Literature and Psychology, with an emphasis on Gender Studies, from the College of William and Mary, and my M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from University College London. I earned my M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, and completed my postdoctoral residency at HeartWork Psychology.
