I specialize in couples counseling with a focus on pre-marital and marital counseling. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas, I bring a wealth of experience from the mental health field, where I’ve been active since 2018, and specifically in counseling services since 2022. My expertise extends to individual, couples, and group counseling for adults, addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, pre-marital, marital, and divorce.
My Background and Approach
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work for the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s degree in Social work from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. During sessions, I strive to provide a safe and neutral environment that will allow both parties to be heard. Marriage is more than the change of your living situation and last name, for you are two separate individuals who are coming together. During pre-martial counseling, the goal is to identify areas that may cause conflict in your union, such as; beliefs, communication, and many other differences. Counseling is a tool to help address differences and provide a foundation for the years to come.

One of my greatest strengths as a relationship therapist is my ability to maintain impartiality, ensuring that both partners feel equally heard and validated. This balanced approach fosters an environment of trust and open communication, which is essential for addressing and resolving conflicts within the relationship. My approach integrates evidence-based techniques to help individuals develop healthier thought patterns and coping strategies.
