About My Clients
I hit home runs with couples and families who hungry for thoughtful, attuned, intelligent feedback and who are motivated to use it. I tend to attract clients who are curious, engaged, and excited to see their relationships succeed. While I niche in relationships, I keep it broad: young adults to later stages of life, parents and siblings, blended families, or couples — any relationship that truly matters to you!
My Background and Approach
I’m trained as both a Marriage & Family Therapist and a Clinical Psychologist, and I bring those lenses together in my work. That means I can see the parts and the whole: individual experiences, relationship dynamics, and how they interact to shape our lives. My core belief is simple but powerful: relationships shape almost everything. For too long, Psychology focused almost exclusively on the individual, the same way medicine split into specialties that rarely spoke to each other. I don’t practice that way. I’m passionate about relationships and attuned to patterns and dynamics within them that influence individuals. My goal isn’t to diagnose people, but to diagnose problems. I see opportunities for improved mental health by intervening at the relationship level. That said, therapy with me isn’t endless analysis — it’s focused, transformative conversations that spark insight, growth, and change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m deeply invested in relational ethics and the subtle ways power, privilege, and unspoken roles shape how we relate to one another. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in spaces where people feel emotionally safe, seen, and respected. I’m especially attuned to the impact of intergenerational patterns, cultural context, and systemic influences within relationships. I care about helping people examine not just what’s happening, but why - and how it reflects deeper dynamics of protection, avoidance, and unspoken need. I support LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals and families, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that is thoughtful, non-pathologizing, and grounded in integrity. I also honor the role of spirituality in people’s lives, whether rooted in tradition or expressed more personally, as a powerful source of resilience, meaning, and connection. I see therapy as a co-created process that invites accountability, reflection, and meaningful change without shame.
