Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, and uncertainty? Do past events echo in the form of trauma responses? I can help you deepen your self-awareness as you build resilience through practices such as Somatic EMDR and Parts work. I draw on my training in external family systems (the people we grew up with) and internal family systems (the conflicting voices we feel inside) to help clients develop insight into the thoughts and and expectations that influence their life experiences.

I offer couples a nurturing space to explore the expectations and dynamics that may forge connection, nurture understanding, and reignite intimacy. In a typical couple therapy session I may lead you in embodied-awareness practices. Using the Gottman Method, I might invite you into a deeper understanding of your relationship dynamics. Using my specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, I can help you address your original attachment patterns, especially those that trigger reactivity.

I am a certified somatic therapist who helps individuals and couples deepen their connection to themselves and others by tuning into the wisdom of the body. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which help individuals process and heal from trauma, stress, and negative life experiences. This evidence-based approach targets unresolved memories stored in the brain and body, enabling clients to reframe distressing events and reduce their emotional charge. EMDR fosters deep healing, empowering individuals to break free from past patterns, build resilience, and create a more balanced, fulfilling life.

In my therapy for couples and individuals, I use parts work, a method that helps clients explore and understand the different aspects of themselves. This approach fosters self-compassion, uncovering the protective roles these parts play in our emotional lives. For couples, it illuminates how internal dynamics influence relationships, promoting deeper connection. For individuals, this helps integrate conflicting emotions, heal past wounds, and cultivate a more harmonious, authentic sense of self.
