About My Clients
Are you always afraid that the anxiety attack or depressive episode is right about the corner? Have you been hit with highs and lows, more panic attacks that you can keep track of? I know the exact feelings you are experiencing, the crying episodes, the sadness, and anxious thoughts and feelings. Anxiety attacks and depressive episodes can both be scary and I don't want you to suffer anymore. Evidence based practices can reduce symptoms and I look forward to teaching you tools on this journey.
My Background and Approach
The tools that I will equip you with are tools I have been learning and perfecting throughout my career. I have use these tools successfully with 10's of people just like you. I aim to equip you with 3-5 tools to help quickly alleviate the symptoms that you may be experiencing. I am a strength based, solution focused provider. We will work as a team to address your anxiety/depression symptoms. I will equip you with strategies to help you regain control over your body and thoughts. I have extensive training in both anxiety and depressive disorders. We'll work collaborately to address how your body and mind are impacted by these symptoms. You will gain skills neccessary to control your anxiety/depression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is capable of change as long as they have the right systems in place to help facilitate change. Many of us develop mental health issues due to trauma and other childhood factors beyond our control. I beleive there is hope no matter what a person has experienced. All humans are capable of learning new skills that lead to healthier outcomes. I advocate for marginalized and oppressed groups and I am an ally of the LGBTQIA community.
