About My Clients
I'm a bilingual psychotherapist who offers therapy to the LGBTQ+, BI&POC, and migrant communities with a special interest in meeting the unique needs of sex workers and multiracial folks within these communities. I've worked with folks facing a variety of struggles including; anxiety, racial identity, dating, depression, loss, anger, burnout, and self harm. My clients are often ready to speak their truths, learn more deeply about themselves, and work toward their own liberation and nourishment.
My Background and Approach
All too often many of us fall through the cracks in the systems we navigate, become othered and undervalued by society, and end up in a never ending race where we feel as though we are constantly catching up or at the precipice of falling behind - sometimes all at once! We carry this with us while we are held to the same standards as those who do not face the same barriers. This is where therapy can enter your life. When working with clients I focus on healing from a lens that considers the impacts of the systems we all live within. I believe that the healing done in therapy can offer both the individual and collective the reprieve, strength, and support necessary to transform ourselves and our communities. You don't have to do the work alone
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion of working with community comes from a fundamental belief that we need to create and prioritize spaces which empower those who have been pushed toward the margins. I work with the folks who are tired of searching for a therapist who understands how exhausting it is to fight for a seat at the table. I say it's time that we begin to create our own tables and stop asking for a seat in spaces that may further harm us. While all those seeking support are welcome, I’ve specialized in creating space for immigrants and first generation Americans, sex workers, multiracial folks, and LGBTQ+ folks.
