About My Clients
I work with individuals dealing with addictions, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, trauma, and many other life challenges. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, space for clients to explore their experiences and gain insight to help overcome challenges.
My Background and Approach
I received my bachelors degree in Psychology (2017) and masters degree in community mental health counseling (2019) from McDaniel College. I became a licensed clinical professional counselor in March of 2020. I utilize an eclectic approach to counseling to best meet clients where they are. I practice a person-centered approach recognizing the client is the expert in their experience and know themselves best. I integrate DBT skills as needed to help improve overall wellbeing and coping. I am also trauma informed and recognize the impact trauma has on all aspects of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I am dedicated to helping improve your overall wellbeing and finding practical and effective ways to help you cope and feel better in your journey. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and Black Lives Matter. I am non-monogamy informed and I am neurodivergent. I believe that spirituality is anything that makes us feel connected to something larger than the individual self. I have experienced trauma and understand how it can impact every aspect of life and influence our behaviors.
