We can all find ourselves needing support or clarity at times in our life. Whether you are going through a life change or you're feeling down, anxious, or confused, an experienced therapist can help you sort things out and feel better.
My Background and Approach
We will figure out what is the best evidenced-based approach based on your particular issue. I use cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and DBT therapeutic techniques, but also sometimes more general problem solving, education, and processing approaches. I have over 15 years of experience with most major life situations: depression/anxiety, divorce/grief, marital issues, life stage changes, etc. I teach parenting classes for defiant children as well as facilitate a Dialetical Behavioral Therapy group. I am trained in Gottman Marriage counseling. If we work together, we will start by collaborating on identifying your goals and set up a plan to track your progress. We will also work at growing what is going right already. You can feel better and make the changes you want to and I look forward to supporting you with this!
