Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is effective for managing the negative thought patterns associated with depression. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) focuses on emotional regulation, which can aid in managing depressive episodes. It addresses relational issues that may contribute to depression. I tailor the appropriate intervention to the needs of the client to enhance the likelihood of a successful outcome.

I provide therapeutic interventions for anxiety disorders and possess experience in working with individuals who experience various forms of anxiety, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, social anxiety, and other related conditions. Exposure Therapy: Utilized for phobias and certain types of anxiety

Through extensive experience in the mental health field, I have developed skills to enhance my knowledge of cognitive distortions. I learned how to be proficient in identifying and addressing cognitive distortions such as dichotomous thinking, catastrophizing, overgeneralization, and personalization. Understanding the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors is crucial, as is the ability to analyze behavioral patterns that perpetuate psychological issues.

Narrative therapy works with clients to assist them in reframing their personal narratives and dissociating themselves from their problems. This therapeutic approach conceptualizes individuals as distinct from their issues and encourages clients to reconstruct their life narratives more empoweringly. The process of storytelling and reframing guides clients in exploring alternative perspectives on their experiences and relationships, facilitating the reshaping of their personal narratives.

The person-centered approach serves as the primary therapeutic modality for all clients. This approach emphasizes the creation of a supportive and non-directive environment, enabling clients to explore their emotions and cognitions at their own pace. It is predicated on the belief that clients possess an inherent capacity to comprehend and resolve their own challenges when provided with appropriate conditions by the therapist.
