About My Clients
Many of the people I see describe feeling stuck—whether by persistent anxiety, the weight of past experiences, uncertainty about next steps, or a sense that life is not moving in the direction they want. I work with adolescents and adults facing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness. Rather than applying a single method to everyone, I adapt the work to your goals and what feels most useful for you. There is room for seriousness and for humor when it fits—both can be part of the process. My aim is to offer a space where you feel heard and respected, where you can be yourself without needing to have everything figured out first, and where the work we do together is both meaningful and practical.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside the therapy room, I’m a proud parent and an occasionally overwhelmed pet parent to two dogs and two cats. Our house is equal parts love and controlled chaos but I wouldn’t change one moment of it. I love getting lost in books and read just about every genre under the sun. I love baking, but mostly because it gives me a legitimate reason to eat whatever comes out of the oven! These everyday pieces of life keep me grounded and remind me that rest, humor, and small joys matter just as much as the harder work we do.
