About My Clients
My ideal client is someone willing to put the work in to grow, even if it is uncomfortable. I especially connect with teens struggling with identity, anxiety, self-esteem, and/or rebellious behavior who need a relatable, non-judgmental guide to explore who they truly are and want to be. I also have found success working with clients navigating grief, helping them process loss, and learning to adjust to their new normal following the death of a loved one.
My Background and Approach
I hold an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) in Florida — so you get graduate-level, evidence-based care at an accessible price. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma with preteens, teens, and adults. I have a soft spot for teens navigating identity and self-esteem — I'm the relatable, judgment-free guide I wish more young people had. For adults, I especially connect with those facing life transitions, relationship challenges, and the kind of chronic stress that makes you feel like you've lost yourself somewhere along the way. Using ACT and CBT, I help you untangle unhelpful patterns, reconnect with what matters most, and build real skills — not just cope, but actually create a life that feels like yours. I'm warm and patient, but I'll also lovingly challenge what's keeping you stuck. Whether you're a teen figuring out who you are or an adult trying to find your way back
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know what it feels like to sit where you are. Growing up, I moved often, making belonging feel out of reach. In high school, I survived a school shooting — and carried PTSD and depression before I had words for any of it. Difficult relationships added to the weight, and for a long time, a peaceful life felt impossible. Then I found the right therapist and everything changed. That's exactly why I do this work. I spent years as a personal trainer, but kept seeing how much the real weight people carried was emotional. That led me to mental health counseling, where the deeper work happens. Exercise is still my passion, but now I'm focused on strengthening the whole person. Outside of sessions, I'm a dog mom, a wife, and someone who recharges at the beach, in the gym, and with the people I love. If you're ready to do the deeper work, I'll meet you exactly where you are because someone once did that for me, and it changed my life.
