About My Clients
I enjoy working with individuals who find themselves having difficulties coping with the challenges of life and may be engaging in less helpful or effective coping strategies such as self harm, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, and others. Whether it is a life transition, an ongoing mental health condition, or interpersonal conflict, I believe each person has the strength within themselves to reconnect to the things they value most.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Texas and have previous experience working at the intensive outpatient level of care. I specialize in working with life transitions, school and work stress, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, self harm, eating disorders, and identity challenges. My approach is warm, empathetic, direct, and patient.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the therapeutic process is collaborative and unique to each individual. I approach work from a strengths based perspective with the belief and understanding that each person already possesses the resilience and capability to heal. My goal and role as a therapist is to walk alongside you as you reconnect to your strength and resilience, while also teaching new coping skills.
