About My Clients
I specialize in working with teens and adults struggling to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression or going through difficult life transitions. I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment for you to express yourself and feel heard and understood. I will tailor your sessions to your individual needs with a focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based practice. We will work together to increase your self-awareness and explore thinking patterns.
My Background and Approach
I’ve had the opportunity to work in various settings, including residential treatment centers, crisis intervention, outpatient community mental health, juvenile detention centers, and medical settings. My experience has been working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I use various modalities and will tailor my approach to your individual needs. My experience comes from multiple schools of thought, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practice, Trauma-Focused CBT, Seeking Safety, and solution-focused treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion is working with the Latinx community and “first-timers” to therapy. However, I welcome clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and races.
