I specialize in working with teens struggling with big emotions and/or challenging behaviors, parents facing the challenges of navigating their teens emotions and behaviors and neurodivergent folk in a neurotypical world. I provide individual therapy, parent coaching and family therapy both in-person and virtual.
My Background and Approach
After years of experience in high acuity residential centers & crisis intervention organizations, both as a therapist to teens and adults and a supervisor and trainer to 200+ employees, there are few behaviors and dynamics I have not seen. I specialize in complex trauma, skills building and behavioral management. I also have extensive training in Trust-, somatic and EMDR. I have worked with clients who have experienced anxiety, PTSD, executive dysfunction, depression, crisis management, substance use, self-harm, suicide ideation, sensory processing, attachment wounds and family dynamics issues. My recent work has focused on collaborating with young adult clients to make a healthy transition into adulthood. I am a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner and approved trainer, which has enabled me to train more than 200 individuals using the TBRI® Framework and different models of de-escalation and crisis management.
