About My Clients

Sometimes we have faced issues like depression, anxiety, or difficult and unfulfilling relationships our whole lives, other times problems seem to come out of nowhere and knock us right off our feet. One thing I do know, is that we should not go through hard things alone. I walk alongside my patients as they navigate the difficult healing from trauma, learning who they are in this world, or find meaning in the mess. I look forward to walking with you as you start taking back your life.

My Background and Approach

I am a psychodynamically trained psychotherapist with a full appreciation for other theoretical orientations and modalities. My approach is to combine empirically supported treatments with interpersonal sensitivity and attention to the unique needs of each client. I am highly experienced in treating those who are struggling with mood, personality disorders, and trauma. My specialized training took place with the Department of Defense in a Naval Hospital, followed by further training with the Veterans Healthcare Administration. I later joined the VA as a staff psychologist and loved my work with Veterans and Military Service Members. I have fully transitioned to my own private practice, where I have more flexibility to more fully meet the needs of my patients.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
