About My Clients
I work with adults who grew up without the emotional safety, attunement, guidance, or protection they needed. Whether through neglect, criticism, unpredictability, or abuse, these experiences can leave lasting beliefs about ourselves and relationships—contributing to anxiety, depression, self-doubt, disconnection, and patterns of pleasing, withdrawing, overachieving, or staying in control to feel safe.
How I Can Help You
My approach is integrative, experiential, and attachment-focused. I primarily use EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help identify and resolve the experiences, beliefs, and protective patterns that continue to shape the present. I also draw from DBT to support mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships when additional skills are helpful.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
I believe our symptoms and struggles usually make sense within the context of what we have lived through. Anxiety, avoidance, perfectionism, shutdown, and self-criticism are often adaptations that once helped us feel safe. I offer a compassionate, non-pathologizing space where healing means understanding these patterns, reconnecting with your own internal resources, and creating a life guided less by the past and more by who you are now.
