About My Clients
I work with individuals who have suffered trauma (including but not limited to: physical/sexual abuse, natural disaster, divorce, death and dying, etc) through the use of EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitivation Reprocessing.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my Master's in Psychology and Counseling from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2016. Since then, I have been practicing therapy in a multitude of settings including: teen therapeutic boarding schools, state corrections, adult substance abuse treatment facilities, and private practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation to successful therapy. Learning how to create meaning from the anxiety we face daily helps us take more ownership of our life and decreases the feeling of "being stuck".
