About My Clients
I specialize in Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy to work through issues related to anxiety, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, grief and loss, substance abuse/addiction, and relationship distress. I enjoy working with those from diverse backgrounds and am LGBTQIA+ friendly.
My Background and Approach
My approach is goal-oriented and present-focused. I utilize Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the perseverance of the human spirit. If there is a desire to change any aspect of your life, within the context of a safe and compassionate environment, there is a way to overcome any obstacle. I entered the field of mental health because I wanted to better understand myself and how to improve my relationships with the people that matter most in my life. Through my journey of gravitating toward what has felt best for me, I have discovered ways to overcome the barriers that were in the way of an expansive and joyful life. Now, in my work with others, I get to share this gift. I look forward to meeting you!
