About My Clients
Brandi provides individual, family, and group therapy for individuals (and their families) ages 3-25. She is skilled in working with trauma, behavioral problems (often secondary to ADHD, autism, ODD, or conduct disorder), and mood, anxiety, and stress.
My Background and Approach
Brandi has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, residential treatment facilities, women’s shelters, youth-attended care shelters, and outpatient mental health clinics. Brandi received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver and completed her internships at Abused Adult Resource Center and Nexus-PATH. Brandi’s approach is rooted in attachment- and relationship-focused theories. She utilizes client-centered approaches, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT, including trauma-focused, or TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and parent training. Brandi is currently pursuing training in EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Brandi believes healing happens in the relationship and believes this is essential to the therapeutic process. She utilizes a relational- and attachment- focused approaches to therapy to assist in improving relationships with others and oneself. Brandi offers a warm and non-judgmental place allowing children, teens, and their families to feel supported and validated during the therapeutic process.
