About My Clients
You're probably high-functioning on the outside, but exhausted on the inside. You carry more than you let on. Relationships leave you feeling alone even when you're not. You've tried to fix it - the books, the podcasts, maybe even therapy - but you keep landing in the same place. You're not looking for another coping strategy. You're ready to understand what's actually driving this, and to finally feel like yourself again.
My Background and Approach
I work primarily from a psychodynamic approach, which means we're not just managing symptoms - we're looking at the deeper why beneath them. Why you shut down when you want to speak up. Why you feel responsible for everyone's emotions except your own. Why certain reactions feel way too big for what's actually happening. When it's useful, I bring in other tools like CBT and EMDR, but the foundation is always understanding what's driving your patterns, not just naming them. I have thousands of hours of clinical experience across private practice and inpatient psychiatric settings. That breadth taught me that good therapy isn't a formula. It's about understanding what you actually need and meeting you there. The relationship we build matters. When someone truly understands what you're going through without judging it, something shifts. Life starts to feel less like something you're managing and more like something you're living.
