About My Clients
My ideal clients are from a range of different identities, cultures, and personal experiences who want meaningful change in their lives and relationships. They may be new to therapy or have years of prior experience. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family and relationship stress, boundary setting, personality patterns, and parenting or workplace challenges. Many are high-functioning but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
My Background and Approach
I provide person-centered, trauma informed, culturally responsive therapy for teens and adults. I integrate psychodynamic, DBT, and ACT approaches to help you understand patterns, manage emotions, and build meaningful change. With experience across inpatient and outpatient settings I offer a warm, genuine, and collaborative space focused on lasting outcomes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and safe to show up as their full selves. My work is grounded in values of cultural humility, curiosity, and compassion. I strive to create a space that honors diverse identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences, and I approach therapy through a trauma-informed and socially aware lens. In addition to my clinical work, I am committed to training the next generation of psychologists through my academic role. I value ongoing learning, thoughtful dialogue, and supporting people in building meaningful, fulfilling lives aligned with their values.
