About My Clients
Individuals I work with may be wanting to heal patterns of people pleasing, perfectionism, shame, disordered eating, body image, and build more secure relationships. I gently guide clients in exploring and healing their relationship with food and their bodies through embracing a Health At Every Size approach and increasing Embodiment. I also support folks desiring to recover from the impacts of trauma, heal attachment wounds and patterns, move through anxiety, and strengthen sense of self-worth.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My style with clients is warm, compassionate, calm, and collaborative. My methods are rooted in attachment theory and understanding how our bodies and nervous system can support us in healing. I help clients reconnect with their inner wisdom through taming the inner critic, developing self-compassion, healing underlying beliefs, and practicing embodiment. I enjoy using Internal Family Systems and a variety of trauma-informed and somatic-based therapeutic interventions as a part of your healing process. The techniques I draw from are intended to offer a deeper understanding of self, to gain insight into patterns, and to make empowered and lasting shifts in your life.
