I have been providing Gender Affirming Care for 10 years now. I work with both adolescents and adults in exploring gender identity and support through both medical and social transitioning.

I work with the LGBTQIA+ community and offer a safe space to explore all various identities, sexual orientations, and relationship diversities.

I offer many modalities to help with the treatment of trauma, including EMDR, polyvagal theory, and internal family systems. I have a passion for helping clients find emotional freedom from the past and be able to live a more purposeful life now and going forwards.

I have been providing sex therapy from a sexuality and relationship diversity lens for 10 years now. I work with the poly and kink community to both support lifestyle choices and in addressing issues that come up along the way. I am also trained in and experienced in working with clients who want to explore sexuality in general and/or in addressing sexual issues.

I have been providing gender affirming care to both adolescents and adults for 10 years now. I am a fierce advocate for the trans community and for those in various places on the gender spectrum. I am well connected to resources to offer referrals for various services and procedures/surgeries and can provide a letter for those who need it to access medical services.

I have a lot of training and experience in addressing anxiety in general as well as health anxiety specific concerns. I use an eclectic approach by combining elements of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based therapies. I also often use workbooks for those that like a structured approach.

I have completed the University of Michigan's Sexual Health Certification Program. I also am a part of multiple consultation teams with a focus on deepening my knowledge and experience in providing sex therapy. In addition, I am a member of AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) to continue to expand my training in areas of sex, sexuality, and sexual issues.

I have been studying mindfulness and mindfulness-based approaches for much of my life, as I apply these concepts not just professionally but also personally. I have studied MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction), which is one of the mist highly researched use of mindfulness in both the medical and behavioral health fields. I also am intensively trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), which promotes the use mindfulness as a main module in the core teaching of this program.

I am certified in EMDR and in particular, attachment focused EMDR, as taught by the Parnell Institute. I integrate several other modalities as well such as Flash, polyvagal theory, and IFS (internal Family Systems) to help create a more comprehensive approach to the treatment of trauma. I am also very knowledgable about dissociation and am experienced in addressing/treating its symptoms as it often shows up with trauma.
