About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, couples, and families at my office in South Tampa and online across Florida. Many of my clients are high-achieving adults and busy professionals who appear fine on the outside but have lost their footing internally. I also work with anxiety, burnout, panic, self-esteem issues, grief, complex trauma, and narcissistic abuse recovery. For couples, I help untangle conflict so both partners feel heard, understood, and connected.
My Background and Approach
In over a decade of practice, I have worked with thousands of clients across relationship, trauma, and life transition concerns. I hold specialty certifications in grief, complex trauma, and narcissistic abuse. I tailor my approach to your unique situation, personality, and goals to help you build a more grounded life. I draw from CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and person-centered work. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and increase your sense of control over what is within your power to change. As a former perfectionist and worrier myself, I understand how relieving it can be to learn new ways to relate to worry and thought patterns rather than be driven by them. Clients often come to me struggling with anxiety, panic, burnout, self-esteem issues, or overthinking and self-criticism. I also work with couples stuck in cycles of conflict who want to improve communication, trust, and emotional connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when the relationship is grounded in trust, safety, and unconditional positive regard. You will not be judged for what you bring into the room, and whatever you are carrying is welcome here. Confidentiality is foundational to my work. As a private-pay practice, I do not involve insurance companies in your treatment or records. All clinical work and communication are handled directly by me. I also believe effective therapy is direct and engaged. I ask thoughtful questions, share clinical impressions when helpful, and work collaboratively with you rather than around you. By the end of the first session, you will have a clear and substantive beginning to the work ahead.
