About My Clients
I enjoy working with all people and adapt my approach to meet the individual needs of each client. My specialties include anxiety, stress management, mood disorders, communication difficulties, relationship challenges and self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
My passion for helping people of all ages and backgrounds stems from my education and training as a generalist. I held an internship in an outpatient mental health center where I had the privilege of working with a racially, socially, economically, and pathologically diverse population. This experience came with the recognition that all people, no matter their circumstances, have struggles and are worthy of empathy and support. I gained further experience by providing psychotherapy to residents of nursing homes; psychosocial rehabilitation to adults experiencing severe and pervasive mental illness; psychotherapy to individuals experiencing CPS and foster care involvement; and mental health services to elementary-age children, teachers and school staff. I have a nurturing, authentic, curious and reflective person-centered therapeutic style. I like to incorporate elements of cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and motivational interviewing.

I believe that you already possess the strength needed to overcome whatever challenge you are facing. Sometimes we need help recognizing our inner power. I believe that transformational change and healing stems from within. We all need a safe space to process and work toward our full potential. My priority is ensuring that you feel safe and comfortable so that we can work together to reach your goals.
